At MGWFC, we believe football is more than just a sport – we believe it's a way to build community, develop leadership skills, and promote physical and mental well-being.
The club exists to provide local football players, families and supporters an opportunity to come together, play football, socialise and engage in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
The club aims to:
- Provide a local football program that is fair, challenging and enjoyable for players of all levels.
- Create a club environment where players, parents and supporters want spending their time.
- Focus on developing great people first, and great football players second.

- 1,100+ registered members and supporters.
- 2,700+ engaged followers on Facebook.
- All junior games played locally at Glen Willow – no outside of region travel required for our local junior families.
- 100+ senior club members.
- Senior men's and women's teams registered represent our club in the Bathurst District Football Assoc. competition.
- Local M-League competition (9v9, Saturday afternoons) for senior players who wish to play soccer but cannot commit to regular travel.
- Annual Masters Tournament (o35s) hosted at Glen Willow, attracting 300+ Masters players and their family to Mudgee every year.
- MGWFC players represent our club and community at tournaments across NSW as well as interstate – Sydney, Canberra, Goulburn, Orange, Lithgow, Forbes, Bathurst and Dubbo on a regular basis.
