⚽ SENIOR OPEN TRIAL DATES ⚽
The Mudgee Gulgong Wolves FC is pleased to announce trial dates for senior male and senior female players interested in playing in the Bathurst District Football competition in 2025.
These trials are for players who are turning 16 or above in 2025 and are committed to training and playing in the Bathurst competition, including the required travel to Bathurst and Lithgow for away games.
⚽ TRIAL #1 (Senior Men & SeniorWomen):
Monday 20 January, 6.30pm to 8.00pm
⚽ TRIAL #2 (Senior Men Only):
Monday 27 January, 6.30pm to 8.00pm
⚽ TRIAL #3 (Senior Women Only):
Wednesday 29 January, 6.30pm to 8.00pm

The Mudgee Gulgong Wolves FC will enter a senior mens and a senior Womens team into the Bathurst competition in 2025.

⚽ REGISTRATION OPTIONS 2025 ⚽
Note - long post warning!
The Mudgee Gulgong Wolves FC is excited to announce it will be offering a wider range of playing options for the local community in 2025! Please take the time to check out the details below and keep an eye out for formal registration links which will be released in the coming week or so.
⚽ MINIROOS & JUNIORS (turning 15 and under in 2025) ⚽
- Our local Mini Roos and Junior soccer options for boys and girls aged 15 and under, will continue in 2025.
- All junior games are played at Glen Willow, with no travel required for young players and families.
- Junior teams coached/managed by volunteer parents.
Senior players (turning 16 and older in 2025) now have TWO options:
⚽ SENIORS BATHURST ⚽
- The Mudgee Gulgong Wolves FC will continue to enter Senior Mens and Senior Ladies teams into the Bathurst Competition.
- In 2025, these teams will be selected via a trial process and assigned a dedicated coach and manager.
- This change has been made to ensure teams representing our club in the Bathurst competition are able to do so without player numbers becoming a distraction during the season.
- These teams will consist of players, coaches and managers that are fully committed to the season, including the required travel to Bathurst and Lithgow.
- The Bathurst competition is a home and away comp, meaning 50% of games are played in Bathurst or Lithgow.
- 20+ weeks of competition soccer.
- Majority of games are played on Sunday afternoons.
⚽SENIORS - MUDGEE LEAGUE (M-League) ⚽
- The Mudgee Gulgong Wolves FC is proud to announce the M-League - a brand new local competition which will kick off in 2025.
- The M-League is perfect for players that love the idea of playing soccer but cannot commit to the consistent travel and training required to play in the Bathurst comp.
- The M-League will be a locally administered 9v9 competition (possibly 11v11 if player numbers allow).
- 15 weeks of competition soccer, including semi finals and a grand final.
- Played locally at Glen Willow on Saturday afternoons following juniors.
- Sundays remain free.
- Official referees.
- Optional training sessions will be provided.
- This will be an open competition - males and females are welcome.
- Players of all standards are welcome.
- Teams will be selected by the M-League committee to ensure the competition is fair.
On the back of the success of the 2024 Senior Summer 6's competition, the club is excited to offer the M-League as a new option for our members and the wider local soccer community, looking to play fair, challenging and competitive soccer, without the commitment of travelling to games.

⚽WYL UPDATE ⚽
The Mudgee Gulgong Wolves FC is pleased to announce age group coaches for the Mudgee teams that will be nominated to play in the 2025 WYL competition.
Congratulations to all players who trialled to be part of the 2025 Western Youth League program - the Club wishes all squads the best of luck for a successful 2025 Western Youth League campaign!
Over the coming weeks, each age group Coach will communicate directly to age group parents to advise of selected players, finalise squads and provide details of when training will commence.
Note - U9 Boys will be placed into a WYL Development squad and play as a team in the local Saturday competition. Parents/Guardians of U9 Boys will be communicated to separately, to provide details closer to the competition starting.
Note - Due to low player numbers the club will not be nominating a U12 Boys team in the WYL competition in 2025. Parents/Guardians of players that trialled in the U12 Boys age group have been emailed to explain this further.
